This is the first release of opC++. Here is what is included in this build, depending on your distribution:

As of this build, the following back-end C++ compilers have been successfully tested:
- Visual C++ (v. 2003, 2005)
- GNU G++ (v. 3.4, 4.0, 4.1)
- Intel C++ (v. 10.0.023)
Newer versions of these compilers will most likely work without any problems, and will be tested soon.
This beta will lock itself down as of February 1, 2008.
